24 Guildhall Road (Guildhall Road Block) Cultural Quarter Enhancement Works

*      To bring a vacant building into use by approving:

 

1)    Required roof covering repairs, window repairs and associated access arrangements to ensure the continued structural integrity and functionality of 24 Guildhall Road (linked directly to the Museum by way of access) in accordance with NBC procurement guidelines

 

2)    The completed construction works including extensive asbestos removal/disposal, repairs to the central heating and Part M (access and use) repairs requred since the purchase of the building in accordance with NBC procurement guidelines

 

3)    Match funding for further enhancement works to 24 Guildhall Rd in conjunction and cooperation with the Tenant at Will, NN Contemporary. Options for the uses and refurbishment/alterations to the building (all floors) are to be prepared by an external consultant, relevant stakeholders consulted, appraised for viability and match funding sources identified
