We the undersigned petition the council to refuse planning permission for the erection of a 17.5 m (57ft) high telecommunications pole on the edge of Kingsley Road, opposite the White Elephant Public House, on a site which is within the Kingsley Conservation Area and which will cause serious detriment to the views across the Racecourse towards St. Matthew's Church and along Kingsley Road in both directions

This proposal runs counter to the Borough Council's stated policy towards the Kingsley Conservation area and is contrary to the advice of their Senior Conservation Buildings Officer.
