We the undersigned petition the council to offer Lego a grant, maybe reduced rent rates or other non-monetary intensive to open a shop in the Northampton Greyfriars reconstruction initiative.

simply put the Lego is an extremely profitable company, with a gross profit margin of 71.31% in the year of 2014 leading to a low gearing of 9.06% in the same year because they are able to sustain themselves with returned profits.

other than the financial side Lego have a great representation for a large firm and being a toy company they pass on that general seance of morality to the younger generations and at the same time they constantly innovate. The benefits to the community of having such a large positive organisation part of it are endless.

Lego themselves said (in a message to parents) that "the urge to create is equally strong in all children" " the most important thing is to put the right material in their hands and let them create whatever appeals to them"
