We the undersigned petition the council to register our strong objection to the Grade II listed building of Northampton’s central library of Abington Street, Northampton being converted and developed into a shopping precinct and the like.

The Herbert Norman built building was opened in 1910 and is a part of the towns heritage, an iconic landmark of the town centre that we wish to keep in its current format as a library.
