Minutes:

An email from Environmental Health to The Richardson Group (Charles Bradlaugh) was sent by Neil Polden on 23 June 2010 willing to withdraw the objections subject to The Richardson Group agreeing to a compromise.  Based on the content of that email which contained a compromise, The Richardson Group have returned to Neil Polden on 28 June and 30 June confirming that they are agreed with the proposed conditions and removal of live music to be read as indoor only on the application.

The same applied for the provision of Facilities for making music be amended from both indoor and outdoor to indoor only.

The existing conditions on the licence to continue save for “within each calendar year, a relaxation of this condition will be permitted for no greater than 10 days for any music played in the patio area.  This relaxation will be permitted up to 23.00 hours after which music played in the patio area must revert to ‘background’ levels and should not be audible beyond the boundary of the site after 23.00 hours.  All events must be notified in writing to the Licensing Department, either 7 days before or after the event taking place”.  This was an agreed addition to the current conditions.

The committee have considered the responses from Environmental Health and The Richardson Group and noted that a compromise has been achieved as per the above and was agreed to endorse the same unanimously.
