1.	Apologies Minutes: Apologies were received from Councillor Choudary.
2.	Deputations / Public Addresses Minutes: Private Hire/Taxi drivers were given leave to address the Committee as set out in the confidential supplementary minutes for this meeting.
3.	Declarations of Interest Minutes: Councillor Eales declared a personal, non-pecuniary interest in item 8 as the speaker approached Councillor Eales prior to Committee to discuss the hearing. Councillor Eales declared a personal, non-pecuniary interest in item 11 as he has had dealings with the speaker in the past as a constituent of his.
4.	Matters of Urgency which by reason of special circumstances the chair is of the opinion should be considered Minutes: None.
5.	Exclusion of Public and Press The Chair to Move: “that the public and press be excluded from the remainder of the meeting on the grounds that there is likely to be disclosure to them of such categories of exempt information as defined by section 100(1) of the Local Government Act 1972 as listed against such items of business by reference to the appropriate paragraph of Schedule 12a to such act.” Minutes: The Chair moved that the Public and Press be excluded from the remainder of the meeting on the grounds that there was likely to be disclosure to them of such categories of exempt information as defined by Section 100(1) of the Local Government Act 1972 as listed against such items of business by reference to the appropriate paragraph of Schedule 12A to such Act. The Motion was Carried.
6.	Review of Private Hire Driver's Licence View the reasons why item 6. is restricted (Copy herewith) Minutes: The Senior Licensing Officer outlined the circumstances as set out in the report. The Committee heard the representations made and reached a decision with regard to any further action to be taken. RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver’s Licence be suspended for one week.
7.	Private Hire Driver - New Application (Copy herewith) Minutes: The Senior Licensing Officer outlined the circumstances as set out in the report. The Committee heard the representations made and reached a decision with regard to any further action to be taken. RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver’s licence application be refused.
8.	Review of Private Hire Driver's Licence (Copy herewith) Minutes: The Senior Licensing Officer outlined the circumstances as set out in the report. The Committee heard the representations made and reached a decision with regard to any further action to be taken. RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver’s Licence be suspended for one week with the insistence the driver attends a safety awareness course.
9.	Review of Private Hire Driver's Licence (Copy herewith) Minutes: The Senior Licensing Officer outlined the circumstances as set out in the report. The Committee heard the representations made and reached a decision with regard to any further action to be taken. RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver’s Licence be suspended for six weeks.

The Committee heard the representations made and reached a decision with regard to any further action to be taken. RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver’s Licence be suspended for two weeks.
11.	Review of Combined Driver's Licence (Copy herewith) Minutes: The Senior Licensing Officer outlined the circumstances as set out in the report. The Committee heard the representations made and reached a decision with regard to any further action to be taken. RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver’s Licence be suspended for two weeks.

RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver’s Licence be suspended for one week with an advisory to take up the advanced driving course and safety awareness course.
